A Ceravunt umbrella is designed to withstand the fierce monsoons of Bangladesh. Proper care ensures its elegance remains uncompromised for years.
Never furl a damp umbrella. Always leave it fully open in a well-ventilated space, away from direct, harsh heat sources. This prevents the high-density canopy fabric from creasing unevenly and protects the frame mechanisms from long-term moisture exposure.
Should the canopy require cleaning, use a soft sponge with lukewarm water and a very mild soap. Wipe gently in circular motions. Avoid abrasive cleaners, bleach, or aggressive scrubbing, which can degrade the applied water-repellent coating.
When completely dry, furl the fabric smoothly along the natural pleats and secure the tie wrap. Store the umbrella in a cool, dry place, ideally within a breathable fabric sleeve rather than a restrictive plastic tube to prevent mildew.
